Marnie:
I was happy for what Maria and Roman found.
I even caught myself being envious of their relationship.
But I tried not to let myself think that way. Besides, I had my eye on another firefighter.
Harris.
He pulled me to safety when Maria’s house was on fire.
Ever since then, I couldn’t stop thinking about him
I hadn’t seen him in a while, except the shirtless picture displayed in the calendar on my fridge. Yum.
One day he stumbled into my work, and we had a great conversation, until he was called to duty.
I was hopeful things would work out between us.
I just didn’t expect my creepy manager to get in the way.

Harris:
Marnie was a cool girl, and just my type.
I was upset I was called to duty before I could get her number.
My chances felt ruined, but after talking to Roman I decided to give it another shot.
I worked up the courage and went back to her work.
That’s when I saw her manager being pushy and making her extremely uncomfortable.
Something ignited inside of me, and I took action.
I knew I needed to be her hero, and to support her. Forever.
