Charlotte:
I was content with life. Eat, work, sleep, dream about work… and repeat.
As a therapist, I know I’m something good. People come to me because they feel trapped; hell, some even fear for their life.
It’s my job to make sure they see the light at the end of that dark tunnel.
But when my efforts to help one particular patient backfires and a threatening note is slipped under my door, I have no other option but to seek the help of a professional.

When Charlotte steps into my gym it’s as if time had come to a complete standstill.
I sense fear in her doe eyes. It’s like she’s running from something. Whatever it is, I know–I must drop everything and take her under my wing.
But when I agreed to take her on, I had no idea how difficult these training sessions would become.
I’m a born fighter. And I never lose a fight. Yet, why is it that I cannot fight against these feelings she fills me with?
