Stella:
Since the accident, I’ve wanted to be a firefighter. A new job in town in a fire squadron means my dream is finally coming true. But here’s the thing. I’m the only woman on the team and there’s been a grand total of zero up until now. That’s tricky enough.
Then throw in the hottest firefighter in town, who just might find me as irresistible as I find him, and you’ve got a big, potentially career-killing problem…

Taylor:
This is obviously a bad idea. Is that why everything about it is so tempting?
My chief – who’s also my dad – doesn’t like even the notion of her on the team, let alone the actual reality. Fraternizing romantically with a fellow squad member would be a risky move.
I could get fired for even thinking about what I want to do to her…
