Sylvie:
Exactly a year ago, when I found my grandmother’s recipe book…I pictured a small store with interiors that would remind me of my grandmother’s kitchen and living room.
Even though opening this shop started off as just a dream, I was determined to turn it into reality. Here I am now, in my own German bakery store…
Now that I look at him more closely, it completely makes sense.
He’s a stripper! That would explain how he manages to look this f***ing perfect. He’s in a police uniform and he is the hottest guy in this bar. He has a chiseled handsome face, broad shoulders and very deep, very blue eyes.
I can’t say I’ve met any strippers before, but are they all this nice? This man has been such a gentleman.
Griffin:
Of the two women at the bar, it is the redhead who catches my attention. In fact, she grabs it.
The redhead passes me a look of irritation. Frankly, I’m enjoying this. Even the way her cheeks are colouring under the bright party lights. She is annoyed and it’s kinda cute.
I exchange a look with Rob when the women leave. We both know we need to make sure they find a safe way of getting home.
I don’t know why I feel the need to protect her. She can probably take care of herself well enough, especially with her snappy attitude with me earlier. But I want to be there to care for her, no matter what.
Maybe she would trust us more if she knew we’re actually police, not strippers.
