Sometimes happy memories turn into nothing but a bittersweet reminder of what once was.
When Astor left, it seemed as though all the negative memories and emotions did too.
Yet, now that he’s back, so are the feelings full force.
Emotions I forgot I had towards him like care, lust, and longing.
What if those feelings never left and maybe Astor hasn’t been the coward this whole time?
Maybe I’ve been the one running away from it all instead of facing it head on.
And now that he’s here… maybe I don’t want to push away these feelings anymore…

When I left Stony River I thought I’d leave behind the painful memory of Lora’s death, and the reminder of her through her mother as well.
Yet here I am again, back in the place I swore to never set foot in.
Back to where it all began, and it all ended.
Seeing Raven again I felt the desire that had never changed.
My heart missed her, and it was painfully obvious that my body has as well.
And despite the years that past and the problems we still have to face…
I can’t hope but hope theirs a next time for us, and that this time it’ll be different.
