I’m back at Tracy Creek to take over the family hotel.
Part of that is a regular safety inspection, carried out by the very hot firefighter, Kyle.
And I’m crushing on him bigtime.
I shouldn’t be though, considering I was burnt by my ex cheating on me with my best friend.
But knowing that another inspection is due makes me happy because I’ll see Kyle again.
Then there is a fire, and Kyle is injured.
He keeps telling me he’s fine, but I can’t help worrying.
When he returns to the hotel to check the damage, his concern makes me wonder if the attraction is mutual.

I haven’t stopped thinking about Naomi since she returned to Tracy Creek.
She’s focused on running the family hotel, and as someone values family tradition, I respect that.
But when I’m injured at a fire at her hotel, she stays with me until the ambulance arrives.
So, I decide not to sit on the sidelines anymore.
I want her by my side.
Not just for one night, but for always.
To love her and have a family with her.
But does she want the same?
