Even if Alain was crazy enough to have feelings for Elliot, he deserves someone better.
Alain is the definition of a socialite. Fun, frivolous, noncommittal, easy. He’s been called a lot of things, all of them true. The only person who doesn’t care, who doesn’t judge him for anything other than what he is, is Elliot. His best friend since college brought them together, Elliot is everything to him. Too bad Alain is such a mess, or he would try to take their relationship out of the friend zone. He couldn’t tarnish Elliot like that though, even if he is crazy in love with him.
