My bloodline is cursed, and yeah, that really sucks.

I’m a feyal: a cursed one. Having to deal with the chaos in my head on a daily basis makes my life far from easy. It also makes me determined to choose my own path, whenever possible. So despite all my struggles, I managed to join the Avalin City Police Department.
Living and working in the beautiful city of Avalin–the epicenter of the supernatural in this realm–never gets boring. When someone messes with black magic, and a summoning spell goes terribly wrong, I’m forced to make a pact with a smooth-talking demon.
Instead of trying to kill me–which you would expect from a demon, right?–Galan uses his wicked powers to destroy my patience and self-control. He’s annoying, flirty, ecocentric and secretive. He’s also the only one who can help me fix this giant mess. Unfortunately, that entails a lot of awkward long-term touching. But the longer we hold on to each other, the more I’m convinced that touching Galan isn’t the dangerous part of our journey. It’s letting go that I fear most.
