Years after leaving Valleywood to follow his dreams, Highland is ready to return. His chance comes at the request of Dionysus, artistic director of VPAC. But after signing his contract, Highland discovers the mate he lost contact with is no longer a dresser, and he once again has no way to get in touch with him.

Nothing can prepare Nikua or Highland when they finally come face to face. They have to work through their issues and find a way to work together so the show can go on, but years of hurt and misunderstanding might be too much for them to overcome. Can either get the answers they need when all the secrets blow up like pyrotechnics around them?
