Now, with my new job, all of that was going to change. Especially once I met Troy Bennett, the handsome veterinarian, and my new boss. He had an energetic and upbeat attitude that I found contagious. Even so, I couldn’t help being my usual socially awkward self around him. Most of the time, I just felt like a babbling idiot.

But, the strange thing is, Troy made me feel weird. Not a bad kind of weird. Like there was electricity running through my veins every time he was next to me. And it only intensified when he got so close that our lips touched. That was like a bolt right to the heart. But, no, I wasn’t supposed to feel this way. I was straight. I used to have a girlfriend. I have never looked at a man sexually before… but maybe that was all about to change.
