But since Roland overheard her say some less-than-flattering things about his brother, he wants nothing to do with her, and she knows it. Resigning herself to finding a new dream, Vanessa sets out on an adventure to fetch an ancient Roman artifact which will allow her sister to achieve her goals. But she can’t do it alone, and enlists the help of a surprisingly intriguing stranger, “Monsieur Grenouille.”

This mysterious “Mister Frog” is none other than Roland in disguise, of course. (Because that’s how fairy tales work, you know.) He’s determined too show Vanessa the error of her way of thinking, even if he has to humiliate her to do so. But as they embark on their journey to retrieve the golden ball, Roland begins to suspect he seriously misjudged her.
