The Jewel’s Seduction by Louise Stevens

First I craft my greatest creation, an engraved rose print ring culled from the fine gems of diamond and platinum, as an engagement gift for my girlfriend Marielle; a woman who ultimately returns the ring when she finds another. I give the ring to my friends George and Jenny, and eventually it ends up in a pawn shop; where the owner’s son comes to claim it as his own engagement ring—slipping it onto the finger of a very special woman named Cassandra. A wonderful, beautiful nurse who I happen to meet under very unusual circumstances.

Can the ring come to unite the people whose lives it is intended to touch? Or is it simply a meaningless and even malicious bauble, meant to tear my life apart?
