We were told that there was something dreadful up in the mountains, but we didn’t listen.
Things haven’t been the same since Spasma hit. I’ve never had much in my life, but now I have nothing. The only place I’ve ever called home is under attack from multiple fronts, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.
My only hope is the blood-soaked warrior demon who has rescued me. The problem is, I think he might have saved me so he could kill me himself. The whole world is burning around me though, and I have nowhere else to go. I have to put my trust in this monster or face capture, death or even worse.
His rock-hard body, rippling muscles and gleaming, yellow eyes tell me that I have no choice but to submit to his will. We are barely able to communicate but everything he does shows me that he wants me as his own. He wants to possess me, use me, own me. The scary thing is, I’m starting to want him too.
We may be more different than we are the same, but fate has brought us together, and we will survive — or die trying.
