I need insurance to enter Devil’s run. I’ll start with her.

Ryland:
I don’t get along with people, and people don’t get along with me. Well, people are afraid of me, and I don’t mind that. They should be scared. I’m half deadly animal, half lethal warlock and I don’t play well with others. I’m not allowed on Volkov territory by decree of the Alpha, but when someone abducts my sister, I don’t care about those rules. I will take my insurance though, just to make sure I get out of Devil’s Run alive… a snarling, little Volkov wolf who fights me at every turn.
Once I’ve used her as I need her, I’ll let her go.
Well, that was the plan.
My animal has something else to say on the matter.

Brianna:
Needing to prove myself to the pack has finally landed me in trouble I can’t talk my way out of. Taken by a demented bear shifter whose eyes turn white with magic, and can tie me down with his mind is worrisome, but nothing I can’t handle. But Ryland isn’t looking at me like I’m prey to him. No there’s something far more dangerous in his magical eyes. Heat. Possession. Ownership. I promised myself long ago that I’d never belong to any man.
Now, in his brutally tender captivity, I just have to remember it.
