It all started when my little sister introduced me to her new best friend. Wanda had recently moved to town with her family. She seemed sweet. Turns out, she had just turned eleven while I was seventeen.
Fast forward about two years. I’m in my bedroom packing the rest of my belongings before I leave the next day for University to become a Veterinarian. What happens that afternoon causes a rift between me and Wanda for ten plus years.
When I finally move back to my hometown to take over a Vet Clinic from a doctor that’s retiring, I’m shocked to find out that not only does Wanda work at the same clinic, but I’ll be her boss. She’s no longer the little girl that I used to know and now, I want to know her on an adult level.
