Taylor:
I need a break. All my life I’ve been on the same track, and now that I’ve graduated college and am set to start work at my dad’s company in the fall, it feels as if I can’t breathe. It feels as if every choice has been made for me without me even knowing it or thinking about what I want.
A summer at my aunt’s house down the shore while she’s away on business is the perfect solution. It gives me the space I need to decide if the path I’m on is one I should keep walking or if I should venture into the unknown and see where I end up. Starting with getting a job at the local beach bar. That’s where I meet Jason Cunningham. He’s tall, with broad shoulders, an easy smile, mischievous blue eyes, and a deep voice that has my stomach twisting in knots every time he speaks.
He has his life figured out and I’m questioning every move I make. But for some reason, he makes sense, and he makes me see a future for myself I never imagined.

Jason:
I’ve traveled the world for years, spending anywhere from few months to a year in a city and then moving on. Working for my father, I make sure the hotels he buys get up and running smoothly. And while I’ve been around the world, the job that sends me close to home is where I find the greatest adventure I never thought I’d want to go on.
Taylor Spring is a ray of sunshine. If I wasn’t wearing sunglasses the first time she smiled at me, she would have blinded me. But I can see a shadow hiding behind her green eyes, and I’ll do anything to make it go away.
Hot summer days turn to hotter summer nights that I never want to end. And for the first time, I don’t want to pack my bags and move on to the next city when my job is done. At least, not alone.
I want Taylor by my side. I want to show her the world and I want her to choose me. I’ll show her that taking a chance on me is one decision that’s all her own, and one that she’ll never regret.
