When Abbie Coleman is asked to host a relaxing wellbeing retreat at the Hummingbird Hotel after a stressful photoshoot on board celebrity fashion designer Pierre Fontaine’s luxury yacht, she knows it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase the peace and tranquillity on offer in the gorgeous Corfu countryside. With outdoor yoga, chocolate-making classes, and wine-tasting tours on the itinerary, she hopes that her guests will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated, and keen to recommend the virtues of the hotel to their friends.

But this is the Hummingbird Hotel, and words like ‘straightforward’ and ‘stress-free’ do not feature on the promotional website. So, when a member of the local goat fraternity is discovered in a guest’s room munching on a pair of his paisley boxer shorts, and a delicious avocado and kale smoothie has unexpected soporific properties, Abbie must once again join forces with local vineyard owner, the movie-star-handsome Nikos Angelopoulos, to unravel the mystery and save the hotel from becoming the Greek version of Fawlty Towers.

Can she turn havoc into harmony? Or will her future on Corfu be over before it’s begun?
