A tragic loss sent Liam Gilroy, leaving his small town for the big city. He hasn’t been home in years, but when his dad, the mayor, needs surgery, he flies home. Liam’s older brother Thomas has gone down a dark path and has resentment towards him, so Liam knows that it’s going to be a rough visit but what he wasn’t counting on was his dad’s special events coordinator knocking him off of his axis.

Liza Haymaker is overwhelmed when the mayor of Billings, Pennsylvania, is out of commission, and the main fall event is on her shoulders. She begins to doubt herself and the ability to do her job. The Apple Festival is a significant event in this town that brings in a lot of money, so it’s a sink or swim for her.
