I might have saved her from the storm. But who’s going to save her from me?

Jake:
Holidays are the worst time for me.
I’m used to my quiet, secluded life in the mountains.
But that doesn’t stop me from remembering how things should be.
Until she turns up, my shining light in the storm.
Piper seems to come from nowhere, and yet, just like that, she’s all I can think about.
I’ve been alone for so long that I don’t know how to act around her.
But I know I have to convince her to stay, and only a few days to do it in.
Because she’s the only thing I’ve been thankful for in a very long time.

Piper:
We come crashing together, literally, at the worst possible time.
It might be the holidays, but I just want to be alone.
Then he appears to save me, like he was formed of rain and thunder itself.
Tall, strong, brooding. It could have been the start of a fairytale.
But he’s also rude, crude, and refuses to let anybody in.
So why would I want to spend Thanksgiving with someone like that, right?
Seems I don’t have a choice. The weather has other plans for me – and so does he.
But it’s going to be one hell of a challenge to not give in to these feelings…
