He’s my father’s best friend, a grizzled veteran of battle, and he’s the hottest thing that’s ever walked this earth. The man chased Bin Laden. He’s an American hero.

I’ve never wanted someone so much.
My friends say Sledge wants me. But how could he? He’s the epitome of perfection and manliness. And he’s older than my dad! But God… I need him.
But up until now, it’s all just been a fantasy. Until one night in Vegas on New Year’s Eve when our lives are on the line and everything changes in an instant.
One night is all I ask. I can live on that one night forever.
