When I meet Lucy at my brother’s wedding, blood rushes to my head—and not the one on my shoulders. It feels like I’m dreaming when she presses her lips to my ears and tells me to meet her out by the gazebo.
Lucy’s only in town for the night, though. And I’m too focused on my band to go chasing after a girl. So after she leaves, I try my damn hardest not to think about her.

Then she drops the bomb: she’s pregnant. And it’s mine.
Becoming a dad isn’t anywhere in my plans. I’m only twenty-one. And right now, my head and heart are completely dedicated to my band.
But the thing is…I want to make this work with her.
