Carla is a space freighter and captain of a tow ship. Her last trip turned out to be a disaster when her first mate, who ended up being a Federation spy, gave up her location and got almost everyone killed. Carla came to Vaxivia and signed her crew to be transporters to and from the local asteroid mines.
Rizor is a royal prince of a new generation, similar to his uncles. But he is unfortunately half Infernian. He has had to fight for respect and opportunities all his life because of his blood line.
When Carla gets falsely accused of being a Federation spy, Rizor needs to figure out if he can trust her. The problem is that there were crucial data leaks that started around when Carla’s ship landed. As they work together, they start gaining a deeper attraction with one another.
Carla will need to give Rizor everything she can to help clear her name. Rizor needs to help solve this to show where own loyalties lie as well. Will they both get what they want?
