Drew has dedicated his life to catching the bad guys. And that includes Alex Callow. He got away from Drew three years ago and now he’s back. Drew knows it’s only going to be a matter of time before Callow kills again. What he isn’t expecting is to find himself instantly attracted to a person who is unwillingly close to Callow.
Harry has tried to distance himself from Callow as much as he can. But the man keeps coming back and forcing Harry to lend a hand. The first time Harry refuses, his wife ends up dead. Harry sees something of a savior in Drew, coupled with the sudden attraction. No one since his wife has elicited this reaction from him. And the timing couldn’t be worse, especially when he doesn’t know if Drew is using their attraction as a way to get to Callow or if it’s the real thing.
