As a victim’s advocate, Nora has seen the worse that mankind has to offer. She doesn’t really buy into the whole happily ever after idea but is not above having a nice vacation fling with the hot and sweet deputy while in town visiting her friend. Now if he could just stop being such a genuinely good guy, she won’t catch any feelings.
Daniel is drawn to Nora’s curves and her wild side. He takes her up on the offer to help him learn some of the things he missed during his sheltered teenage years. When forced to face the ghosts of his youth, Daniel starts to believe that maybe he won’t ever be capable of normal relationships.
A scared young woman arrives in town on the run, and Nora and Daniel each have unique experiences that will help. While they work together, will they find a way to mend their own past wounds and find a way to build a future together? Or is their relationship just a fleeting thing while Nora’s in town?
