Isabelle knows her brother is in trouble. Who is she kidding? Isabelle’s brother is trouble. And who else but she is going to fix the mess he’s gotten himself into? Of course, as often is the case, her meddling ends up getting them both even deeper in the mire with Mark’s less than law-abiding boss than before.
It’s down then, to Izzy’s policeman ex-boyfriend and brother Mark’s new flatmate, Finn, to help get them out of the mess both Mark and Izzy have created. And that’s when things really start to get complicated.
Ex, Nathan wants Izzy back. He never wanted them to part ways in the first place. That was all her idea. And despite knowing she made the right decision, she can’t help missing the one part of their relationship that was good. The physical side, so much so, that her nightly dreams are filled with images of him.
Yet Izzy isn’t an idiot. She knows it isn’t healthy that she should remain so fixated on her ex and realises she needs a distraction, something to take her mind off him. And that’s where Finn comes in.
They meet in rather unusual circumstances. He’s naked, and she’s hot and bothered after a particularly naughty dream featuring her ex. Running into Finn in the middle of the night at her brother’s flat, her eyes are immediately drawn to a part of him that would normally remain hidden. And she’s literally quite taken with the idea of substituting dream Nathan with Finn.
Finn though wants to make things a little more real. And why not? She’s young, free and single and Finn is everything Nathan isn’t. It’s genius really, replacing smart, quaffed Nathan with a rough around the edges, dripping with untold sex-appeal, biker. What better way is there to forget her old lover but by finding a new one? Especially when he has the biggest thing she’s ever seen, and it’s not often you get to see that part of a man before you decide to, you know, get extra friendly. The only problem she can foresee, is she’s not sure she’s got it in her to do casual and following her distrastrous relationship with Nathan, she’s sworn off men for good.
