When Heather Parsons’s marriage begins to crumble under the stress of caring for three small babies and an unhelpful husband, her friend Iris recommends a weekend away at the Eden Spa – a chance for Heather and her husband Josh to rekindle their fire. After much coaxing, Heather convinces Josh to go away with her for the weekend.
When they check-in, Heather has visions of romance and lovemaking, but Josh’s negative attitude to the spa and her romantic efforts puts a dampener on her mood. Frustrated and lonely, Heather decides to leave Josh to his brooding and try to enjoy herself. Relaxing by the pool, she gets to know the handsome Hugh Warner.
When he listens to Heather responsively, giving her the attention she has been craving from her distant husband, he sends Heather’s emotions into a spin.
