I am a vampire. No longer in hiding, lurking in the shadows for all to fear, or cloaked in ancient folklore.
And I am not alone.
I sit amongst old blood trapped in young bodies, determined to emerge from our hidden kingdoms.

We own Painted Roses—an exclusive, membership only establishment in New Orleans where immortality is the only way in. It is for the vampires who are ready to walk among the mortal.

We have created our own personal garden of indulgence, hiring eager and ready girls to staff our club. We can feed from the innocent, the pure, the untainted—all in plain sight. Yes, there are rules. But we are the ones making them.

The girls are our roses, and we plan to paint our roses red.
