It was a random drawing, how the hell did I get stuck with her? I thought I’d finally get a break from Neve, but fate had other plans.

Neve has been the thorn in my side since she first showed up on the competition circuit two years ago. It doesn’t matter if it’s a contest for the biggest radio station in the area or for the smallest podunk festival, Neve is always there, forcing her way to the front of the pack, neck and neck with me.
I wouldn’t mind the friendly competition if she wasn’t so damn distracting. With her silver blonde hair and fierce personality, I’d be a fool not to be attracted to her. And it’s that attraction that’s been tanking my performance. Every time I lose, I know it’s because I couldn’t keep my eyes of that siren of a woman.
Now we’re about to be locked in a haunted house overnight on Halloween. Twenty-four hours alone, together. How am I going to keep my eyes on the prize when my only company is the woman I can’t get out of my head?
And how are we going to survive the night if the ghosts turn out to be more than legends?
