One Day at a Time by Nathaniel Scott

Neal uses his first presentation in English class as his opportunity to come out at his small town, high school. What should have been a big, profound moment was met with disinterest and the same polite applause that everyone else got. The only thing that changed was the way Bryan started looking at him and the way Bryan’s buddies started treating him. Now Neal, with the help of his best friend, has to figure out what it is he’s wanting and how hard he’s going to fight to get it.
