Once Burned by Jason Collins

DANIEL:

I’m out of the fire, but I might still get burned.

After being pulled from the flames, I wake up in a giant-sized bed with no clue as to how I got there. When the man of my dreams walks in smelling like cinder and smoke, he sets the record straight. The cabin fire was my fault, and he saved my life. Now he wants me to follow his orders.

Running my mouth usually gets me in trouble, but this giant knows how to deal with my sharp tongue. Wes wants to control me, and as much as I like to act out, submission is sweeter.

I’m spending the rest of my trip in this bear’s den. I came here to rough it, but I didn’t know Wes would be the biggest beast around. He might just break me.

But maybe I want to be broken.

WES:

I took him into my arms and under my will.

I don’t usually bring people to my bed after rescuing them, but there’s something different about Daniel. He’s not helpless, but he needs guidance. Something about him stokes a fire in me, and I’m eager to let it burn.

Daniel wants a taste of life deep in the Alaskan mountains. He’s in over his head, and damned if I can’t resist telling him what to do. He sparks something primal in me—an urge to dominate.

And Daniel couldn’t be a more willing subject. He might not know it yet, but he’s already mine. I’m going to hold him so close it might burn.

Daniel’s a wildfire, but that’s what I’m trained to control.
