I royally ticked off the grumpiest bosshole to ever grump.
So what’s my punishment?
My punishment is him.
Cole Keller.
The dark-eyed devil of Manhattan real estate.
As iron-fisted as he is iron-bodied.
A sexy, smoldering, secretive sonofa— Well, you get the picture.
Lucky me, my tyrannical boss from Planet Grouch seems to have it in for me.
I’ve been stuck designing bathrooms for years.
He stares at me like he’s deciding between firing me or devouring me.
And what are the odds that he’d buy the Huntmore, my favorite hotel in NYC, with plans to gut her historic halls?
That last point’s where I finally lose my cool.
Calling Cole Keller an idiot to his face is the definition of a “no-no”.
Any other boss would fire me. Instead I get promoted.
And now I’m in charge of destroying the Huntmore, working day and — gulp — night with a man who’s intent on driving me insane.
I should walk right out of there, middle fingers to the sky.
But I can’t help wondering if there’s some gold in this grump’s heart.
Could there be a man behind the mask?
Or is there only a monster, one who’s finally set his mind on devouring me?
