When I fall into Rachel Moore’s mysterious scheme to bring a fake date to her nasty cousin’s wedding, I’m too intrigued to back out. Rachel’s so studious, I’ve just gotta ruffle her feathers every time I see her. She can’t stand me, but she’s determined not to lose face.
As we study up on each other to make the ploy more convincing, she starts to see past the daredevil persona I’ve perfected to the grief-stricken man buried underneath. And me? I teach her to care more about what she wants than her critical family.
