I’ve always dreamt of backpacking Europe. It’s been the number one item on my bucket list since before I knew what a bucket list was. Now, thanks to a generous gift from a friend, I’m getting to check that item off of my list. I want to make the most of my adventure, so I’ve hired a guide to make sure I don’t miss a thing.
Unfortunately, my guide is a bit of a jerk, and he seems to hate me. Oh, he has his good qualities. He knows everything about everything. He speaks at least five languages. And he has a pair of broad shoulders that I have stirred my imagination more than once.
Our arrangement is put to the ultimate test when we end up stranded in a tourist destination overnight. By dawn, we’ll either tear each other’s hair out or fall in love.
