Everybody has a shadow, but I have two, one shadow cast by the sun, and one cast by Marcus. A gift from my father Lark Carter. I wanted nothing more then to be a photographer, I wanted to find my place in the world, and carve out my own story. I was tasked with keeping her safe as she forced her puzzle piece to fit in the fake reality most people lived in. I wasn’t supposed to love her, to need her. I broke every rule. Watch her, keep her safe, kill any man stupid enough to touch her, and last but not least keep it in my pants. Check, check, check, and check. I’m a once and done kind of man, but Willow, she’s the exception to the rule.
