Casey felt as though the butterflies in her stomach weren’t just flying around but eating their way through her, trying to get out by any means necessary. She hated the fact that the people around campus were not only staring at her but they were laughing, pointing fingers and shouting. She just couldn’t deal with it.

How could Marcus take her for a fool? Was he just dating her to get material for the school online magazine? Was everything she did with him based on a lie? She couldn’t tell. The only thing for her to do at that moment was to break into a run and hide until she came back to her sense.

And in as much as tears were rolling from her eyes, she quickly dashed over the curb and broke a run into the hostel. Once the door was safely locked behind her, Casey dashed to her bedroom and jumped on her bed, crying a river.
She was done with Marcus! And this time, for good!!
