In love with my secretary, cliché I know. Unfortunately, that’s my reality, and there’s nothing I can do about it. The list of reasons to keep us apart is never ending. She’s with someone else. The family business is too dangerous for someone so precious. She’s my freakin’ secretary. Yet I can’t find it in me to move on. That is, until the company St Patrick’s Day party. After my brother browbeats me into signing up for the Holidates App, I give in. I just know I’m in for the ride of my life with this one.

Being in love with a man a thousand times out of my league is the literal worst. Working for said man and listening to him with other women is just plain torture. I just need to get through the holiday party, then I can quit. I don’t want to go alone, though. How pathetic. So, I sign up for the Holidates App with horribly low expectations for my prospects. What I don’t expect is to find someone else that makes my heart race, makes me want more. When the night of the party rolls around, though, I get more than I bargained for.
