Living amongst us are the Inhumans.
Ancient, immortal beings long since separated from the everyday life of the humans.
The vampires themselves have settled into a life amongst the shadows of the human world, separate, but always near.
Things have been peaceful between human and vampire for longer than either can remember, but the same cannot be said for the vampire houses themselves.
With some houses content to leave the humans alone, there are many that cringe at allowing such weaker beings to live freely.
