Andersen –
Brittany is the most amazing woman I know. She’s also the one who’s always been out of reach.
But we’re stuck on this spaceship for the long haul. A trip around the sun, past every non-Earth planet and back. And while the scientists do their thing, I sit behind the pilot’s console with minor course adjustments and plenty of time to think about her. I’ve played out a thousand conversations in my mind, trying to find the one that will convince her she’s the one I’ve wanted all along–the one I’d give myself to completely, body, soul, and, if she’ll take it, heart as well.
