Griffin Archer is a contractor who repairs house or builds new things. Griffin is someone who is able to keep going through anything. So, when he finds himself in the hospital with a knee injury, surgery is a terrifying thing he didn’t understand. He didn’t have anything to do with hospitals. In fact, he normally avoided them if he could.

Trenton Prince is the nurse in charge of Griffin’s hospital care. Handsome and sure of himself, Trenton definitely had everything going for him. Griffin is intrigued and beguiled by Trenton. However, Griffin also knows how hard it would be to pursue anything since he is confined to a hospital bed.

Griffin finds Trenton to be a distant guy. Griffin wonders if something must have happened to make him so hard to get to know. There seems to be no way to get Trenton to open up if the only time that they spent together consisted of Trenton checking his vitals and Griffin trying to flirt.

Can Griffin break through Trenton’s tough exterior and get to know his personal and intimate side. Or is Trenton holding onto a past that isn’t allowing him to move into the future? Perhaps Griffin isn’t the only one who needs be healed.
