When I meet a hunky, grumpy lumberjack, we don’t exactly get off on the right foot. I am only in Honey Rock to fill in at my friend’s veterinary clinic while she is on her honeymoon. But now this prickly lumberjack needs me to help him rescue a cat. And, on top of that, there’s a massive blizzard coming our way. Getting snowed in with this mountain man in his cabin should be the last thing I want, but why does it feel so right?

When I first run into the gal that is filling in at the veterinary clinic, I can’t admit to myself that she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on. I like to keep people at a distance. That way, nobody gets hurt. But when I need her help rescuing a cat, it looks like we’re going to be spending some quality time together.
