Haylee Evans has never had a real family or a place to call home.

That is all turned upside down the day Haylee walks into the Quinn Valley Paws-pital for a job interview.
When Haylee and Joel end up involved in a serious animal rescue case, they have to work together to save the animals who are counting on them to survive. They are both determined to give these animals a chance at a better life.
But what will happen when the past catches up to Haylee and threatens to destroy her own chance to realize her dream of having a family and a home of her own? Will she be able to learn how to trust and love before it’s too late?
