Hawk’s Choice by Carol Dawn

I’ve loved him from afar, now it’s time I love him up close.

Hawk:
When he first walked through the Clubs doors, I knew that my life would be forever changed. He was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. But, his eyes were distant. He was running from something. I wanted nothing more than to throw him over my shoulder and hide him from the world. But, I decided to keep my distance. For a year, I avoided him as much as possible. Then he was attacked and everything changed. That man is mine. And, I will fight tooth and nail to keep him by my side.
“I don’t know how to be an us,” he whispers. “I don’t even know how to be a me.”

Slim:
I’ve lost who I was. I’ve had to hide behind a mask in order to protect myself. Now, all I want is to shred the false persona to pieces and be who I really am. But, doing that will alert the person hunting me to my whereabouts. Then, I fall in love with a man who has me taking that chance. Now, I’m trapped and time is running out. If Hawk and the Sons don’t find me, I’m going to die.
