When my label told me I need to find a girlfriend to temper my bad boy tendencies, I thought they were joking. When I realized they were, I wanted to tell them to f*ck off. Cooler heads prevailed and I was on the hunt for a girl to put on my arm.
Instead…I found a woman. Seeing Angel have to stave off unwanted attention from my entourage while working at a nightclub put a fire in my veins I’d never felt before. And when I learned she was fired for slapping the guy, I was angry. And felt guilty.
So, why not solve both of our problems. I hire her to pose as my girlfriend, thus giving her a new- temporary- job and getting the label off my back.
It’s the perfect situation…until feelings start to feel too real.
