To top it all off, this Sebastian guy adopts the cat before Iva can. Sure, after some haranguing, he agrees to joint custody…and starts cooking for her…and is awakening her passion for art…and is really, really hot. But he’s the cat-stealing enemy, and she mustn’t forget that.
But sleeping with the enemy is okay, right? As long as she doesn’t fall in love with him, she’s fine. Which is perfect because Iva’s life is too much of a mess to fall in love with anybody…right?
Right. Now she just has to convince her dumb heart of that.
