They both need favors.

Matt Kent has had a thing for Cadence Griffith, a woman on his package delivery route, for a year now. He’s caught glimpses of the smoking-hot woman from time to time, but the day she finally speaks to him changes his whole world. Unfortunately for him, he still hasn’t recovered from the last time his heart was broken. Because it wasn’t just broken. It was destroyed. Now, his ex is back, wanting to talk.

Cadence has noticed how good Matt looks in his work uniform, which is precisely why she’s never spoken to him. After her divorce, she decided to live her life for herself. So she’s too busy running her successful real estate business and training for a marathon to let lust get in the way. Unfortunately for her, her mother wants to know who she’s bringing as a date to her sister’s wedding. When the sexiest man she knows comes to mind, she lies. And then she needs to get that sexy man on board with her plan before her lie blows up in her face.

But can a relationship grow if it’s built on lies?
