A Bear saving a kitten? How about a big strong manly bear…

Sandy:
Who needs men when there are so many cute little animals in need of saving? That’s what she tells herself at least. Besides, with getting her Rescue up to code, and taking care of her kids, she wouldn’t have time even if she were interested (and she’s not!).
But now, this bear of a man has just shown up with a kitten…and he just so happens to be a contractor.
It wouldn’t hurt if he put in a bid for the construction her Rescue needs, right?

Mike:
Give him someone to fight or crush, and “Meathead” is right at home, but when he finds himself saving a little-bitty cute kitten, he is totally out of his element. Surely, the local rescue can, well, rescue him from this situation.
What he doesn’t count on is falling for the vivacious little lady who runs it. His Bear knows his mate when he sees her. Before long, his work on bringing the Rescue up to snuff gets both of them hot and bothered…
But how can he tell her he’s a shifter? Soon, he realizes he must let her in on his secret. But will it pull them together or destroy the budding bond they both have been daring to allow to grow?

Will she appreciate his attempts to help her son stick up for himself, and as she finds herself right in the middle of danger, will his rescue terrify her into fleeing for good or bring them together completely at last?
