So…
I agreed to go speed dating.
What’s the worst that could’ve happened, right?
I’d embarrass myself, meet a few horrible men, and be on my way.
But no.
The universe has a crazy sense of humor.
The man I meet is none other than my sworn enemy.
Cody. The biggest player alive.
A massive pain in the behind.
Insane ego. Humongous bank account.
Our last fight was a nightmare. I almost pulled his hair out.
Never did I think that I’d have to see him again.
Much less talk to him on a speed date.
And yet, here I am.
The word awkward doesn’t even cover it.
I swear if he opens his mouth and says something nasty, I’ll make him regret every word.
My escape plan:
Go home to my son and forget all about it.
Then, at any cost, avoid a second date… or something more.
