Pretending to date is easy. Or it would be if Sydney and Ben didn’t have actual feelings for each other.

Ben:
Sydney Roberts — the woman of my dreams and breaker of hearts — is sitting right beside me. I can’t believe it. After all this time.
When we meet again at my friend’s wedding, my first instinct is to run the other way. So, how did I end up in a no strings attached/pretending to date situation? I’m not quite sure. But what I am certain of is that it’s going to be sweet torture having her in my life once more.

Here’s the thing, though. Ben and I have a real, honest-to-goodness chance at love. What remains to be seen is whether our messy past will get in the way of us having a future together.
