I was always one of those silent types.
The man of few words that they all go gaga over.
But with her, I feel compelled to speak.
For her, I want to be the good guy.
I can’t be gentle with her, though.
I need to be cold and demanding to protect her.
They want to get their hands on her, and I’m not letting it happen.
I’ll stand here and fight, tear them to sheds for her.
I’ve never fought so hard in someone’s name before.
I’m seeing red, and my words feel like they’re failing me.
