A month has passed since bear shifter Jake and his mate Anna helped his hybrid half-brother, Gray, locate his own mate near Jackson, Wyoming. But their actions have fallout: alienated Army specialist Mark Sanger, victimized alongside Anna by Jake’s psychotic father, has turned his back on his former allies.
As political tensions among the bear shifters in the Lodge threaten the entire organization, rumors arise that a group of shifter hunters have come to town looking for them. The horrified lovers and their friends are forced to face facts: Mark has told the Hunters about them, and all of them are now in danger.
But there is more to the story than Mark’s rage, and the group soon realizes that Mark is caught up in a much larger plot to destroy them… one engineered by an unknown enemy. When the fanatical hunters target Anna for an unbelievable reason, Mark rebels, and warns Anna and the others.
But even if they can trust him, and accept his help, can they prevent the Hunters from forcing them all to flee the Lodge, to save themselves, the other Lodge members, and a town full of innocent bystanders? Or can they do the unthinkable, and make the hunters the hunted?
